Be an active participant in something meaningful. Check our Want Ads and decide how you can help, contact us ... and get involved! Weekly Worship. Sunday mornings are full of opportunities to share your gifts in God's service: Be a lay reader, welcome new visitors, serve refreshments after church, help with the sound system, join the choir / play an instrument, operate the elevator, be a greeter, help with chancel preparation, offer a ride to those without a vehicle, be an usher, add your name to the Sunday Calendar, serve with Music and Worship. Teaching. The church can always use your help if you have a special gift for working with children, or have insights to share with folks of all ages: Help in the nursery, start a parents and tots group, teach or assist in the Sunday School, be a Youth leader or confirmation mentor, share your knowledge and faith experiences at a UCW or AOTS meeting, be a prayer/ discussion group leader, help with the Trinity Arts program, serve on the Christian Development committee. Outreach. Reach out to the those in need: Volunteer for LAMP- Lunch Programme, INN From the Cold, or the food bank, participate in a UCW or AOTS outreach initiative, support World Vision (with the Sunday School), visit shut-ins, visit new members, promote our Mission and Service fund, be a Rainbows volunteer, organize a blood drive, organize a fundraiser for a specific cause (e.g., the Stephen Lewis foundation or Habitat for Humanity), serve on the Mission and Social Outreach committee. Building and Grounds. A safe, clean, and inviting place of worship is essential for maintaining a welcoming environment here at Trinity: Participate in a cleanup day, initiate a painting or maintenance project, volunteer your green thumb or flair for decorating, supervise the church's recycling programme, help implement fire safety and security plans, serve on the Property committee. Church Administration. Your business or administrative skills can assist Trinity in the logistical challenges of running a large church: Join an offering count team, maintain office computer equipment or software, help coordinate the stewardship campaign, be a Visitor, update membership lists, help with phone calls or mailings, contribute to the website/newsletter, serve on either the Public Relations, Stewardship, Ministry and Personnel, or Finance committees.
